Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. All you need to see rates is gender, age, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term—six quick data points. Your name, address, and medical information are only requested if you choose to move forward with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are quotes the carriers provide for your selected health rating. The actual premium becomes final after the carrier completes its underwriting review, which may uphold, improve, or modify your health class. These quotes are for comparison only and do not constitute a binding offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name and the system generates an application from the exact quote you selected, then transfers control to the carriers' secure application environment. You're free to pause and come back to finish it later; completing your signature is done online. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), oversees all applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier you choose, the coverage limit you want, and your answers. Some carriers with Immediate coverage programs can provide decisions on the spot for qualified people; every quote displays whether an exam is required, conditional, or unnecessary.
Is a longer term better?
The right term depends on what you're protecting. You want term coverage for obligations that will eventually end: a mortgage payoff, when children become adults, or a business debt maturity. Longer terms lock your rate but raise monthly costs. The calculator shows what each 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year term costs from different carriers, so you can compare.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting tool doesn't request any contact information, we don't distribute visitor data to third parties, and our analytics don't use cookies. For a complete breakdown of what information is recorded and who has access, check out the privacy page.
