Monthly price is the carrier's quoted monthly premium for your selected coverage amount, term, and health classification. Rate class is the underwriting category the quote is based on; underwriting determines the final assigned class. Exam indicates whether the carrier typically orders a paramedical exam; many accelerated underwriting programs don't require one for eligible applicants. A.M. Best is the company's financial strength grade.
